The deadly gold-colored statuette was reportedly handed to him alleged anti-Putin terrorist Daria Tryopova, 26, who was arrested today.

Russia released one supposed confession video showing the blonde, with cropped hair, admitting her role in the bomb plot.

Now footage released by the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation shows the moment Trepova entered an apartment building with a large suitcase and shoulder bag.

She can be seen smiling as a man opens a door for her, before the video cuts to show her arrest by Russian police.

Police said she traveled around the city by taxi for four hours before arriving at the apartment building, Russian media reported.

Local newspaper Izvestia claims that Trepova bought a ticket at Pulkovo airport but never arrived for her flight.

On Monday, Russia released an alleged confession video in which the blonde, with cropped hair, admitted her role in the bomb plot.

When asked why she is being held, Tryopova says: “I would put it this way, because I was on the side of Vladlen Tatarsky’s murder.

“I brought the figurine that exploded.”

She was then pressured to reveal who supplied her with the devastating explosive device, to which she replied, “Can I tell you later?”

Tryopova allegedly pretended to be an admirer while attending the creative event, carrying the explosive in a cardboard box.

CCTV footage shows the suspect strolling past the cafe with the package in hand before entering the room owned by the mercenary warlord Yevgeny Prigozhinfounder of the brute Wagner group.

In a cruel twist of fate, eyewitnesses claim that Tatarsky effectively signed his own death warrant by welcoming Tryopova and her deadly gift.

Security at the café had questioned the blonde on her arrival and told her to leave the box at the door after asking, “What if it’s a bomb?”

Tryopova is said to have described herself as an “artist” and explained that she wanted to “show the heroes of Putin’s special military operation”.

It is alleged that she struck up a conversation with the popular blogger before taking the package from a coat rack.

One participant claimed that the suspect used the fake name Nastya to get close to Tatarsky before handing him the TNT-laced statue.

Video captured the moment she handed the box to Tatarsky, who approvingly held it before putting it down.

Alisa Smotrova said the pro-Kremlin expert had insisted to see the bust despite security concerns.

While discussing the encounter she claims to have witnessed, she shared KP.ru that Tatarsky had asked the name of his alleged killer during the seminar.

Alisa explained: “She said, ‘Nastya. I want to give you a sculpture because I study in the sculpture department of the Academy of Arts.

“He said, ‘Well, get it.’ She said, “They told me at the entrance, ‘What if it’s a bomb? So I left him there.”

“Well, everyone here laughed. She said, “Well, shall I bring it?” He said, ‘Yes, bring it’.

“She came, brought this box and went to the podium. She gave it to him.”

The bystander claimed that Tryopova then became reluctant to associate with him and sit closer after he invited her to do so.

Alisa continued: “She says, ‘Oh I’m so shy’. He said, ‘Sit closer’.

“She moved closer to the window and said, ‘Well, I’m sitting here on the chair’.

“They took out the statue, it’s a golden head in a helmet. Well, I don’t even know if it looks like Tatarsky.

“He put it there without thinking and then went on asking questions [to his seminar audience].

“And suddenly an explosion and smoke… We were in the second part of the room. Everyone ran away.

“Those who were nearby, of course, were already covered in blood and ran away. The windows also exploded. We ran for the exit.”

Just three minutes after the exchange, Tatarsky was dead after the statue containing up to 450 grams of TNT erupted.

Police told RBC media that “the blast was at a height of two feet from the floor.”

Its capacity was 300 to 450 grams of TNT and it went “to the right of Tatarsky”.

Tryopova allegedly fled the scene and was reportedly booked on a flight from Pulkovo Airport Unpleasant Turkey hours later – but never showed up for it.

A fireball exploded through the café, injuring 30 and sending shards of glass flying into the street.

State media said 19 of the 30 detainees in the blast in St Petersburg were taken to hospital. Eight people remain in a serious condition.

Tryopova was detained Monday in a rented flat close to the crime scene by the FSB and the Commission of Inquiry, according to local media.

When she was led away from the compound in handcuffs, she reportedly said, “I was set up. I was just being used.”

Tryopova’s first photo after her arrest showed her with close-cropped blonde hair, suggesting she cut it to disguise herself.

The police are still hunting her alleged Ukraine-born accomplice Maria Yarun, 40, although some reports say she is in hospital following the blast.

Officials would now search Tryopova’s conversations in a private web chat, according to Telegram channel VCK-OGPU.

The reports reportedly suggested that she had come to St. Petersburg from St. Petersburg Moscow late last week and planned to fly abroad – to Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, via Istanbul.

The former shop assistant had breakfast with her friend on Sunday and sent her a message about the explosion.

Tryopova wrote: “I could have died there, I would rather have died there, I had been framed.”

She then allegedly changed the settings of her messenger account for the first time in seven years.

Tryopova’s friend Dmitry Rylov – also in his twenties and a member of the so-called Russian Liberation Army – insists she has been “trapped”.

He is also wanted by the secret services and has been detained with his girlfriend at anti-war protests.

Rylov insisted that Tryopova “completely misunderstood the purpose” of the statue given to Tatarsky.

He said, “I believe my wife was framed.

“I have every confidence that she could never do such a thing on her own accord.

“Yes, with Daria we really do not support the war in Ukraine, but we believe that such actions are unacceptable.

“I’m 100 percent sure she would never have agreed to such a thing if she had known.”

Tatarsky, whose real name is Maxim Fomin, is one of Russia’s top military bloggers and has more than 560,000 followers on Telegram.

He gave a critical running commentary on the war in Russia Ukraine and had once been a fighter in the fighting in eastern Ukraine in 2014.
