Delete a Disney Plus profile

Profiles are a great way for your friends and family to keep track of your favorite shows and movies. Plus, you’ll receive personalized recommendations based on your viewing history. Disney Plus allows you to create up to seven profiles, so you may need to edit and delete some if you find there are too many people share the account. Here’s how to delete a Disney Plus profile or account.

How to delete a profile on Disney Plus

If you plan to delete a profile, keep in mind that this is a permanent action and you will not be able to restore the profile after that. Also, you cannot delete the primary profile from your account. For that, you’ll need to cancel your subscription completely, which you’ll learn in the next section.

Follow these steps when you’re ready to say goodbye to a profile. First select your Profile. You can find your profile on most TV devices by expanding the left navigation bar. In a web browser, you’ll find it in the top right corner.

Select Edit profile and choose the one you want to delete. Scroll down and select Delete profile.

You will be asked to confirm your choice one last time before the profile disappears for good. If the profile you’re deleting is for someone you don’t want to allow access to your Disney Plus account (for example, an ex), you should also change your Disney Plus password.

Delete a Disney Plus account

To delete your Disney account, you must first cancel all active subscriptions. While cancel your subscription will not delete your account, deleting your account is permanent. To clarify, you cannot reactivate your subscription and will need to create a new account if you change your mind.

Log in to your Disney+ Account via a computer or mobile browser, select your Profile and choose Account.

Then select Disney+ on the Subscription tab, then choose Cancel subscription. You can share your reason for deleting your Disney Plus account and complete an optional survey if you’d like to provide more feedback. Once you are done, you can complete the cancellation.
