Warning: Spoilers ahead for Drag Race UK Season 4 Episode 3.

This week on RuPaul’s Drag Race UKit was all about fashion darling as the queens were tasked with working in pairs to create complementary runway looks.

After all participated in the ‘Naff-ta Awards’, each couple received a box of colored fabrics selected for them by Sminty Drop, after receiving the award for the most chaotic queen of the cast.

While some queens’ colors worked well, others didn’t quite London Fashion Week finished, with jury RuPaul, Michelle Face, Alan Carr and model Leomie Anderson who judge every little detail of their craftsmanship.

In the end, Black Peppa and Copper Topp were the bottom two queens of the week, with the the latter is sent home after a lip sync with Jax Jones and Ella Henderson.

From top to bottom, here are our rankings for the week.

Cheddar Beautiful

A golden goddess (Picture: BBC)

Cheddar Gorgeous lives up to her amazing reputation since joining Drag Race UKand this week was no different.

The artist knocked it out of the park with her gold creation, looking utterly ethereal from her facial adornments to her Medusa-esque wig and cascading gold dress.

Wire

We live for this retro glamor (Picture: BBC)

Le Fil is one to watch in our books. Just look at the gorgeous shape of their satin blue top?!

The artist exuded ’70s elegance with this ensemble, and each piece looked as if it had been professionally created. Not to mention Le Fil’s fantastic synergy with their catwalk partner Sminty Drop. Bravo!

Dakota Schiffer

That grin says Dakota knows what she’s doing (Picture: BBC)

The more we look at Dakota’s outfit, the more we love it. Every detail is so well thought out, from her eye makeup to the ribbon from her chest to her legs.

She and Baby were an extremely strong team, perhaps for sure they didn’t fade into the shadows with their black outfits compared to the bursts of color shown by their competitors. Dakota’s love for fashion really came to life!

Baby

Baby is back (Picture: BBC)

After last week’s disappointment when Baby and their team lost the girl group challenge, Baby had a fire in their stomach to make sure they didn’t fall behind in episode three.

The drive to be at the top of the pack certainly paid off, with Baby taking to the runway in a beautifully crafted mini dress that matched Dakota’s look perfectly, in a stunning show of teamwork.

Sminty Licorice

Sminty got over her worries in the Work Room (Picture: BBC)

When Sminty first started freaking out about the fabrics she and Le Fil got in their blue box, it was like we were seeing a classic case of a Drag Race queen letting a small obstacle get the better of her.

With the help of Le Fil’s patient encouragement, Sminty pulled it out of the bag and created a look that, while in need of some extra shine, stunned on the main stage.

Jonbers Blonde

We were hoping this would be Jonbers’ big moment (Picture: BBC)

In the Werk Room, it seemed like Black Peppa and Jonbers had a winning formula in mind, where they both turned out to be talented and fashion-forward queens.

In hindsight, however, the pair opted for a piece of fabric and weaving technique that didn’t work in their favor, though Jonbers should still be commended for creating a two-piece with a striking shoulder design that was a sight to behold.

Pixie Polite

Pixie is back next week (Picture: BBC)

For the runway look of Pixie and Danny, they basically created two of almost the exact same outfits, rather than being more bold with their design choices like the other queens in the cast.

While we would have liked them to push the boat out a bit more, playing it safe meant they were declared safe by RuPaul, and Pixie’s appearance ended up being slightly slimmer than her partner’s.

Danny Beard

Danny looked shocked when Ru called her name on the main stage (Picture: BBC)

Danny was a delight in the Werk Room this week, comforting Pixie beautifully when she opened up about her breakup from Drag Race UK season two Queen Tia Kofi.

On the runway, she and Pixie left a lot to be desired, presenting looks that were complete and well thought out, but didn’t show much imagination, especially when we know their incredible potential and talent.

Copper top

Copper was eventually sent home (Picture: BBC)

Despite Copper and Cheddar working so well together and hitting gold with their fabrics for the runway challenge, the former’s outfit was sadly taken apart by the judges.

Copper is definitely one of the sweetest entrants to this year’s competition, so we’re very sad to see her leave, even though we think the judges’ criticism of her appearance was justified.

Black Peppa

Black Peppa was crowned winner of the week in episode one (Picture: BBC)

We hate to see Black Peppa at the bottom – of our rankings or RuPaul’s – because in our eyes she is definitely one of our biggest contenders to win the crown at the end of the competition.

But the fact that her outfit literally fell on her during her runway presentation and looked incomplete — despite the amount of time she spent weaving the fabric — meant she had to be in the bottom spot this week.

RuPaul’s Drag Race UK returns on BBC Three and BBC iPlayer next Thursday at 9pm.
