Thanks to Primark Britain's response fashion calls, a number of trendy waistcoat combinations are up for grabs for less than £20 each.

That includes the matching relaxed waistcoat and front pleat Bermuda shorts for £18 each – making the full co-ord set just £36.

And you are guaranteed value for money, because the set can be dressed up either casually with sports shoes or sandals.

Shoppers have called the khaki co-ord set 'fabulous for summer' after the fast fashion label put it on display Instagram.

The slightly fitted Bermuda shorts were also called 'luxurious yet relaxed'.

“Part of the Edit collection, which is defined by a refined aesthetic, flowing silhouettes and clean lines, these Bermuda shorts are nothing short of a smart-casual must-have,” Primark bosses said.

“Offering a silhouette reminiscent of classic tailoring, these Bermuda shorts celebrate the timeless style first conceived in 1914 as a uniform option in the heat.

“They can switch effortlessly between smart and casual.

“They have a high waist, complete with belt loops and a button fly, side pockets and back pocket detailing, and flat pleats to give the garment even more structure.

“Pair with the matching waistcoat for a deconstructed formal outfit or style with anything from a lightweight blouse to a boxy T-shirt to create the look you want!”

They added that the matching waistcoat has “unlimited styling potential.”

“We love a timeless piece waiting to be styled by a new generation of creative thinkers,” the bosses explained.

“And this waistcoat is the perfect example of how a garment can be made fresh and exciting with a little thought.

“Cutting a classic silhouette with a lightweight fabric, this structured piece features a V-neck, a single breasted button closure and points and a two front pocket design.”

ABBY McHale reveals why Primark is known for its sleepwear department.

Taking over large sections of the stores, it has everything from trendy satin styles to fluffy Disney PJs and everything in between.

Plus, it means you can look good and feel good without having to spend a lot of money.

It's also a great place to buy a pajama dupe for yourself.

Last year Primark had a great version of the Skims pajamas and the latest dupe is from Victoria's Secret.

The pink striped pajamas match those of the American lingerie brand, I also have one myself.

They're lightweight, super comfortable and only a fraction of the price – what's not to love.

Designers incorporated skip darts “to create a more relaxed fit.”

The result was a vest “minimal enough that it creates a blank canvas on which to build a look.”

Earlier this year, Primark his plans revealed to invest more than £100 million in its UK stores by 2024.

The move comes as the Irish fashion giant celebrates 50 years of existence on the Great British High Street.

Through the combination of new store locations and expansions, Primark will reach 195 stores and almost 8 million square meters of sales space by the end of the year.

The new stores and significant expansions will result in almost 700 new jobs in Britain, ranging from retail assistants to store manager roles.
