They are said to be at odds with Netflix staff, and the show could even be “suspended indefinitely,” insiders say.

But the streaming giant would stand behind the filmmakers who want to keep the content they have.

An insider told Page six: “Harry and Meghan are panicking because they try to mute even the most basic language. But it is their story, from their own mouth.”

Another added: “They have made significant requests to take back content they have provided themselves — to the extent that some Netflix employees believe that if granted, the project will be indefinitely suspended.”

Netflix wanted to air the docuseries in December after the fifth series of The Crown next month.

But the edits the pair want could delay the release until next year.

Last month, The Sun revealed that Prince Harry was desperately trying to… last minute changes to his bomb book.

The Duke’s moves, who are already half of a . has got £35 million deal for his memoir, come for fear that some sections are now “insensitive”.

Sources say he may be concerned that parts will be considered insensitive so soon after the death of the queen — and his father Charles take the throne.

It was also revealed that he had received an advance of approximately £17.5 million ($20 million) for the “completely truthful” memoir – part of a £35m deal for four books.

Harry38, who has launched a series of verbal attacks on his family, has contacted publishers, but the book has already been signed and is expected to be on sale by the end of the year.

It comes amid claims that Penguin Random House demanded that the first draft be improved.

A source told The Sun on Sunday: “The publishers paid $20 million up front because they knew whatever was written would be huge for sales and exposure around the world.

“But the first draft they received was disappointing because it was a bit too emotional and much more focused on mental health problems than they wanted.

“Eventually the final design is ready and signed and a lot… money and an effort has gone into making sure it comes out this year.

“But Harry has thrown a spanner in the works because he’s desperate to get it refined in the face of the Queen’s death, her funeral and his father Charles ascend the throne.

“There may be things that might not look so good coming out so soon after the Queen’s death and his father’s kingship.

He wants sections to be changed. It is in no way a total rewrite. He is eager to make changes. But maybe it’s too late.”
