A WOMAN shared a great hack on how to make fried chicken in an Air Fryer and I promise her secret ingredient will blow your mind.
Using the airfry_jen handle, she posted the video to her Tik Tok page and showed her 68.4K followers what her secret was to get a crispy coating on her chicken

And her secret hack was a package… DORITOS! Yes, that’s right, the popular savory snack in flavors like Tangy Cheese and Chilli Heatwave.
As we know it is something you normally serve with a salsa or guacamole dip. Being extremely creative, she used the popular tortilla chip as a coating to make her chicken extra crispy.
She captioned the video Dorito Chicken being cooked in the Air Fryer.
Flamin’ Hot Tangy Cheese was her favorite flavor and she broke the chips into a crumbly texture and placed the bag of crushed tortilla chips in a bathtub.
In a separate bowl she beat some eggs
Then she dipped some raw chicken breast fillets in the egg wash before placing them in a bowl of crushed Doritos.
Once evenly coated, she put them in the Air Fryer and cooked them in Air Fry mode at 180 degrees for 20 minutes.
She then took them out of the fryer to show us the finished product.
And the result, an almost perfect looking plate of fried chicken that looked absolutely fantastic.
Golden and crispy mouth-watering chicken pieces that, by the looks of it, could give KFC a run for its money.
Fans flocked to her page to comment on the unusual fried chicken mix.

However, a follower noted that airfry_jen had effectively made a KFC Zinger burger, adding, “Flamin Hot Doritos on chicken breasts is like a KFC zinger x.”
To which she replied that the finished chicken strips would do well in a burger.
