Kanye West suspended from Twitter by Elon Musk for ‘inciting violence’

Kanye West has been suspended from Twitter after posting a photo that appeared to be a swastika with a Star of David.

In response to the tweet, Twitter CEO Elon Musk said, “I’m just clarifying that his account is being suspended for inciting violence,” Musk said in response to West’s tweet.

It came after West, known by his stage name Ye, appeared on the podcast of alt-right conspiracy theorist Alex Jones and stated that there were “good things about Hitler”.

In a post-broadcast statement, the Republican Jewish Coalition said: “Given his praise for Hitler, it cannot be overemphasized that Kanye West is a vicious, abhorrent bigot.

“Conservatives who wrongly admitted Kanye West must make it clear that he is a pariah. Enough is enough.”

According to a CNN report last month, West had been privately praising Hitler for years.
