The Princess of Wales showed off her affectionate nature just before Westminster Abbey’s carol service began, cooing about a cute little boy in the crowd. The Princess will present the Together at Christmas carol concert this year, which will be dedicated to the late Queen Elizabeth II. Among the royal attendees at the celebratory gathering were Kate’s two eldest children, Princess Charlotte and Prince George, who were accompanied by their father prince william.

For the service, the Princess of Wales wore a beautiful maroon coat dress as she arrived at Westminster Abbey, beaming at the waiting crowd.

One of the first to arrive, Kate was later joined by her husband Prince William, alongside Princess Charlotte and Prince George.

The young princess wore a dark red coat, a complementary hue to her mother’s tight dress.

Prince William wore a wine tie to match his wife’s dress, while Prince George wore a smart navy blue suit.

Once inside, the Princess of Wales spent time greeting the public, offering a particularly warm welcome to younger members of the public.

A group of excited children greeted Kate with a torrent of high-fives as she entered Westminster Abbey.

To make sure everyone felt welcome at the service, the mother of three knelt down to clasp the hands of a young boy among those in attendance.
