Manchester United returns to Premier League duty after the World Cup break with what appears to be a favorable home encounter with Nottingham Forest. Although it seems a long time ago now, Erik ten Hag’s finished the first run of the season in fine form and is just four points clear of the Champions League spots, with a game in hand against fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur.
A win would really increase the pressure on Spurs, although Forest is not to be taken lightly. Man United team news: Dalot and Sancho unavailable
Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane are still missing after the World Cup and Harry Maguire was hesitant after missing the win over Burnley due to illness, but returned to training on Friday.
Diogo Dalot also missed the game against Burnley with an injury and Ten Hag has said he doesn’t think Jadon Sancho will be available here.
