The victim of a fatal stabbing in a Birmingham nightclub has been named as Cody Fisher.
The 23-year-old was approached by a group of people before he was reportedly stabbed at around 11:45 p.m.
A murder investigation has been launched following the attack, which took place at Crane nightclub on Adderley Street in Digbeth.
His family said tonight, “They broke our hearts; I’ve lost my best friend.
“My family and I ask for privacy and respect at this heartbreaking time.”
