It has been revealed that India will host the Redmi Pad launch at 12 noon on October 4, where the Xiaomi sub-brand will introduce its first tablet. Aside from showing the back panel of the device and the available colors, the announcement tweet doesn’t give us much information about the next offering. With the release of the Xiaomi Pad 5, the Chinese company returned to the Indian tablet market earlier this year. In addition, the company shared a teaser image on social media showing the appearance of the Redmi Pad.

Redmi Pad Specifications and Features
The device should have a 10.6-inch display with a resolution of 2,000 x 1,200 pixels. The screen has a brightness of 400 nit, 10-bit color and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. On the back panel is a rectangular camera module and symmetrical bezels surround the display on all four sides. The pill is estimated at 445 grams in weight and 7 mm thick in terms of dimensions.
Speaking of the camera specs, the 8MP front and rear cameras are expected for the redmi Path. It includes quad speakers with Dolby Audio tuning on the audio front.
The MediaTek Helio G99 processor is said to be the power source of the Redmi Pad. Up to 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage are included. According to reports, the tablet will be powered by an 8,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. It works right out of the box on MIUI Pad 13, which is based on Android 12.
