Michelle Branch was arrested for domestic violence against her estranged husband, Patrick Carney,
Police were called to the home of the singer “Everywhere” in Nashville at 2:08 a.m. local time on Thursday, Aug. 11 over a possible domestic disturbance, Page Six reports.
Court documents show that she admitted to punching the Black Keys musician once or twice in the face, so she was arrested.
According to the complaint, Carney had no visible facial injuries.
The Davidson County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that Branch, 39, was released Thursday after paying $1,000 bail.
She was originally supposed to be held for 12 hours, but was released earlier “because of the nursing infant,” the documents say.
She has scheduled a hearing for November 7, 2022, to face her allegation of domestic violence through offensive/provocative behavior.
