The emergency services closed the road with an ambulance and fire truck present.

Scaffolding and masonry fell onto the pavement in Stoke Newington High Street, according to the London Fire Brigade (LFB),

About 20 people were evacuated from the two stores through the rear of the buildings. There are currently no reports of injuries.

The LFB confirmed at 9:48 am that firefighters were present at a “partial collapse of a building” in Stoke Newington High Street.
