The Great British Bake Off star Syabira burst into tears when she had a wiggle over her Showstopper.
Syabira joins the cast of 12 amateur bakers trying to impress judges Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood in the famous tent.
On Tuesday’s episode, the wannabe pie chefs got the job of Mexican Week, making a variety of delicious dishes from the South American country.
The bakers were first challenged to make a pan of dulce for The Signature and later made tacos for The Technical and a tres leches cake for The Showstopper.
However, Syabira, 32, ran into a problem while making her sweetcorn tres leches cake, which raised a few eyebrows from Prue and Paul over the unusual ingredient.
As the clock ticked, Syabira, who is from Malaysia, panicked when her baking didn’t go as planned.
Syabira began to cry as she began to worry that her cake would be dry, and Abdul rushed over to comfort her.
Fans on Twitter were quick to share their heartbreak over Syabira getting upset, with one writing: “Syabira is crying. Tent broke even the most positive and healthy person ever #GBBO.’
Another wrote: Oh Syabira, don’t cry over spilled leche! T res tiers = triple joy in our book #LoveYourBurntBits#GBBO.’
“I can’t bear to see #Syabira upset! Bless her! #GBBO,” one viewer added.
Fortunately, the sweetcorn and cinnamon cakes managed to convert Paul and Prue into sweetcorn flavor, and Syabira sailed on to the next round.
Rebs and James were both eliminated after no bakers left the show last week while Maxy was awarded Star Baker.
