The married 49-year-old even has a sign behind the bar at The Gables that reads: “Given zero f***s.”

Her tirades have divided opinion, with some saying she has “terrible manners and rude and disrespectful staff”.

But other customers at the Middlesbrough boozer loves her no-nonsense approach to moaners.

She responded to a TripAdvisor complaint about her homemade goulash by saying, “I’m glad idiots are still allowed to make their own decisions not to return. See you soon, won’t you.”

Another customer was labeled a “stingy spoiled brat” and a family with children was told, “We’re not a daycare center.”

Another who moaned was told, “Don’t throw your toys out of the stroller.”

Jo also told a woman who left a bad review, “Shut up, you blinking idiot.”

Others find her candid views refreshing, commenting, “You’re fabulous, love the teasing.”

A customer said while he was at the pub, Jo had “turned into” Peggy Mitchell and started yelling ‘get out of my pub’.”

He added: “It was a good laugh, will be back next Tuesday.”

The mum of three, who has run the pub with her husband Mark for nine years, said of moans: “They get both barrels and they deserve it. This attitude started after the lockdown.

“I decided not to sit still and accept the abuse. I don’t mind fools. I stand behind every word I put on the Tripadvisor responses.

“I don’t care what the moaners think, we have great customers who come here to enjoy home-cooked food and a friendly atmosphere.

Everyone is welcome, but if they decide to hand it out, they get it right back.”
