COLBY COVINGTON has vowed to KILL UFC commentator Jon Anik after the veteran announcer campaigned for Belal Muhammad to take the next shot at the welterweight title.
Despite UFC boss Danny White Confirming that Covington will be the next crack at the 170lbs title, Muhammad and the rest of the division’s top dogs still hope to be the next dance partner for champion Leon Edwards.
Anik defended Muhammad’s claim on Twitter, prompting a scathing attack from former title challenger Covington.
Covington, who weighed in as backup for Edwards’ trilogy fight with Kamaru Usman told last weekend MMA fights said, “You’re not talking about Belal, you’re talking about the racist.
“That man is so much more than racist, everything he does is racist, the man is a lame joke.
“He says I’m in this position because of my skin color, because I’m white? That’s clearly racism.
“And you know who hangs out and hangs out with that racist? Jon Anik. Jon Anik, you know, supports that racism.
“He is [Anik] supposed to be impartial, he should have those headphones, he should be an interviewer, he should remain impartial.
“Wanna be a cheerleader? Put down the headphones, pick up the pom-poms, step aside and be a cheerleader.”
“You wanted to lick my fucking balls in London, ‘Oh Colby this’, but then you want to go back behind the stage and cheer for a racist.

“I don’t want your kids to grow up without a father, just realize you live in Boca [Raton]I live in Miami, mother, you’re not far from me, so you better shut up.
“You poke the bear, now you understand that the bear is coming after you.”
Anik aroused the anger of Covington by tweeting, “Well understand why Colby Covington was the backup, but hard not to feel for @bullyb170! 9-fight undefeated streak.
“Hasn’t lost in over four years. Just knocked out a previously undefeated fighter.
“The man deserves his respect and I’m not saying he’s hosting a podcast with my twin brother.”
UFC president supremo White is adamant fan favorite Covington will be Edwards’ opponent for the Brummie’s second title defense.
But Edwards has no intention of giving the controversial Chaos a third shot at welterweight.
Rocky said, “He said, ‘I don’t know how that makes sense.
“He hasn’t fought in over a year and a half. Sat out, not injured.
“I don’t understand how he just slides in for a world title when other guys have been active in the division.”
