VICTORIA Beckham’s Christmas photos show a shift in her marriage dynamic, a body language expert claimed.
And she thinks that because the fashion designer’s family has reached a turning point, Brand Beckham is now her priority.

In an exclusive interview, body language expert Judi James told The US Sun: “In the picture with David, Victoria seems to like it like she’s his gift rather than the other way around.
“She holds both her arms down instead of putting her left arm around David in a mutual hug and she creates a barrier between them.
“The tagline on her hoodie suggests she’s still his fan after 23 years of marriage, but the words ‘All I Want for Christmas is David Beckham’ shows admiration for the football hero and his brand rather than the man himself.
“By acknowledging her partner’s fame, desirability and brand in this way, Victoria just creates PR puff for Brand Beckham as a couple.”
Victoria and David have made their brand a huge success since they got married in 1999, with a combined net worth now in the hundreds of millions.
In fact, the Beckham empire has gone from strength to strength over the years with David, 47, and Victoria, 48, continuing their joint business ventures as they expand and move their families.
These include the former Spice Girl’s transition from pop superstar to the fashion business and David’s foray into the football business in the US and UK.
At the same time, the celebrity couple seemed to have enjoyed relative stability within their marriage in recent years, despite this not always being the case.
The difficulties first surfaced during their courtship, with Victoria later writing in her 2001 memoir that she hit David after learning he may have cheated while she was pregnant.
After a family move to Madrid in 2003, the Beckhams’ marriage made headlines when David’s PA Rebecca Loos alleged that the then-Real Madrid player had had an affair with her, which he denied.
As rumors of turbulent times for the couple continued to ebb and flow, 2017 saw the Beckhams renew their wedding vows.

Around that time, David said, “We stay together because we love each other and because we have four wonderful kids.”
Speaking about their body language in their new Christmas photo, Judi notes that something seems to have changed in their dynamic.
“Victoria’s Christmas photo shows David in a rather rare pose where he seems to be the one initiating the rituals of touch and worship,” she says.
“Victoria accepts them instead of reciprocating his movements.
“During the many years of their marriage, it was usually Victoria who performed the exaggerated rituals of partnership and closeness.
She usually does this by draping herself or hugging her husband in photos to strengthen him and their relationship.

“Here, the body language balance and symmetry seem to have changed in this idealized photo.
“This time it is David sitting with alpha legs wide apart, encircling his wife with his arms to indicate both possession and sexual attraction.
His beaming, closed-lipped smile suggests she’s the catch here and he’s lucky to have her.
“The sexual cues come from the way he circles her hips and places both hands on her buttocks in an encircling motion.
“While David’s facial and eye expression suggests a playful approach, Victoria has adopted a dreamy smile that suggests she wants to promote a more romantic ideal.
“If you dive deeper into the pose, it’s awkward enough for her to look like a moment in front of the cameras, rather than something more spontaneous.”
Amazingly, the potential shift in the Beckhams’ marriage dynamics occurred at the same time as the couple’s family structure began to change.

This summer, their eldest son Brooklyn flew out of the nest after marrying American heiress Nicole Peltz.
Initially, Victoria and David told the world they were overjoyed with the news, but rumors of a breakup quickly began to swell after the glamorous Brooklyn-Peltz Miami wedding.
Victoria reportedly refused to design Nicole’s wedding dress and the relationship between the two women reportedly soured.
“The second Christmas photo that Victoria posted in the pajamas seems to be aimed directly at the absent son Brooklyn. The pose also shows a change,” explains Judi.
“This is Victoria’s message showing the desire to have him back in the bosom of the family team.

“Victoria has always emphasized the importance of family bonding, grouping and team dynamics in her life.
“The Beckhams seem to stick together, but now she has lost a son to marriage.
“Instead of adding a daughter-in-law to the Beckham team, it seems rather that her son is now missing from the Christmas poses.
“Words like ‘daddy’, ‘tradition’ and ‘we love you and miss you’ all suggest that team Beckham longs to have him with them.
It sounds like Brooklyn is way off instead of about to drop by for a turkey dinner.
“The idea of a strong team is created again by the uniform effect of the matching pajamas.
You can’t help but wonder if there’s a Brooklyn-sized set unwrapped under their Christmas tree, just in case.
There’s even an additional photo of David with Harper in a loving hug to emphasize the on-brand Beckham group love.

“Victoria Beckham could win an award for her lifelong dedication to working the pose.
“I don’t think I’ve ever seen her off duty or caught her in a more spontaneous or natural moment.
“She keeps a strict repertoire of signature poses in her portfolio and sticks to them strictly because she knows they work.
“They are largely fashion based, with a nod to a Vogue spread and they seem to take more work than most people would realize.
“There is little or no variation between her personal poses and her work stances, just a cut and pasted look that is pure Victoria wherever she is and whatever she is doing.
“Her drive seems to be doing well for Brand Beckham here.”
