STAR actress Maya Hawke embarked on a career path following in the footsteps of her famous parents.
Stranger Things and Once Upon A Time in Hollywood actress Maya is one of two children born from the former marriage between Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke.

Who are Maya Hawke’s parents?
On July 8, 1998, Maya Hawke was born of Pulp Fiction star Uma Thurman and Moon Knight actor Ethan Hawke.
Although Uma and Ethan divorced in August 2005, they continued to raise Maya and her younger brother Levon in New York City.
In addition to her Levon, she has three more siblings from her parents’ later marriages.
From her mother’s past relationship with financier Arpad Bussonshe has a younger sister named Luna.
From her father’s second marriage to Ryan Shawhughes, Maya has two younger sisters – bringing her total number of siblings to four.
When it comes to Maya and her Hollywood career, she revealed how her parents thought she started acting as a profession, just like they did.

“They also tried to protect me from acting.”

“They didn’t want to drag me down every red carpet or let me play bits in their movies.”
Maya added: “When I was old enough, and it was clear they were my choices, they were very supportive.
When asked about her favorite movie roles in which she’s seen her famous parents, she said, “It’s funny, I haven’t seen them all.

“Sometimes you don’t really want to see your mom being shot or your dad going through painful emotions, even though you know it’s fake.”
She went on to say, “So most of the time I only look at the lucky ones.
“One of my mom’s favorite movies is The Producers, where she dances fantastically.
“That’s much more fun to watch than John Travolta sticking a needle in her heart.”
Who is Maya Hawke dating?
In February 2022, Maya went public with her romance with New York-based musician Spencer Barnett.
Spencer is the son of Roger Barnett, CEO of Shaklee Corporation and bestselling attorney and author Sloan Barnett.
Prior to her relationship with Spencer, she dated Tony-nominated actor Tom Sturridge.
In August 2020, they confirmed their relationship, but the two hit splitsville sometime before Maya started dating Spencer.
