The announcement of the Xiaomi 13 series Was postponed after the death of Jiang Zemin – the former General Secretary of the Chinese Communist Party. The smartphone company still hasn’t announced a new launch date, but that hasn’t stopped online retailers from getting the money from impatient users.
News websites reported that pre-orders for xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13Pro are already live and some people have paid the CNY 999 ($ 142) deposit, despite the fact that the phones are not official.
The Xiaomi 13 Pro would be the successor to the Xiaomi 12S Ultra with a 50 MP main camera and a 1” Sony IMX989 sensor behind the lens. The Xiaomi 13, on the other hand, should be an affordable and compact flagship with a thin bezel, a flat OLED on the front and flat sides.
According to a source, the Xiaomi 13 will be slightly bigger, just a millimeter or two, compared to its predecessor Xiaomi 12. The dimensions are 152.8 x 71.5 x 7.98/8.1 mm and it will measure 189/185 grams, the difference comes from the panel – it is glass or leatherette.
The dimensions of the Xiaomi 13 Pro are said to be 163.7 x 74.6 x 8.4/8.7mm with a weight of 229/210 grams – here’s the heavier but thinner variant with a ceramic back, with the latter leather option.
