The FlexiSpot E7 Pro Plus standing desk meets your standing desk needs by offering a beautiful design with easy-to-use controls at the helm of the overall experience. It fits into almost any office setup, with multiple options to choose from.

Setting up the FlexiSpot E7 Pro Plus standing desk was fairly easy. It mainly consisted of screwing in bolts, connecting cables and following the step-by-step installation guide in the box.

The legs and desktop arrived in separate boxes, but be warned, the box for the legs is very heavy – weighing nearly 70 pounds. The tabletop was lighter weighing about 25 pounds.

You can set up this desk yourself, but for lifting and turning it is best done with the help of a partner.

You can position the wires however you want – we’ve arranged them to come out of the left side of the desk, where the control panel is – and then tuck them all away with the cable management compartment under the desk, so they’re in plain sight withdrawn.

The desk only has one cable to plug in, so you don’t have to fiddle with bulky cords to power the motor. Instead, it’s as simple as plugging in a light bulb, and everything works instantly.

The setup time to get it all together was about 30 minutes.

The top of the E7 Pro Plus standing desk is smooth and not rough, with compliant rounded edges that make the desk attractive to the eyes and touch.

On the left side of the desk is the control panel to adjust the height of the desk. It can go up to 49.4 inches and as low as 23.8 inches. The desk can hold up to 355 pounds.

On the right side of the control panel is a single USB-A port to connect a charging cable for your devices or any other compatible cable.

Using the FlexiSpot E7 Pro Plus standing desk is easy to learn and simple to operate. All controls are located on the panel on the left side of the desk.

The buttons are touch-sensitive, so you don’t have to press them to activate the dual motors. Instead, you put your finger on the controls to adjust the height of the desk. Plus, they’re very responsive, so there’s no need to tap them multiple times to make your desk move.

The up arrow raises the desk and the down arrow lowers it – pretty self-explanatory. On the right side of the control panel are preset heights that you can set to any size you want.

In the middle is a mini screen that tells you what height your desk is currently at when raising and lowering it. When you press one of the preset heights, the screen automatically shows the readings that change in real time.

There are special standing and sitting knobs that can also be adjusted to any desired height. To set the preset height, simply set the table to the desired size, tap the M button and then tap the button whose height you want to preset.

For safety, a child lock function is also integrated into the E7 Pro Plus standing desk. To activate it, press and hold the M button for five seconds until you see a flashing blue light and hear a quick beep. To turn it off, just press and hold the same button again until the blue light turns off and you see the current height of the desk on the mini screen.

When raising and lowering the desk, the transition is smooth and nothing is interrupted on the surface. For example, when raising and lowering the desk with a cup of water on it, the water stayed perfectly still with just small movements.

Although the FlexiSpot E7 Pro Plus desk is promoted for standing use, you can also sit comfortably. FlexiSpot offers a compatible office chair that matches the desk and is comfortable and easy to assemble.

The Ergonomic Chair Pro perfectly complements the E7 Pro Plus standing desk by combining design and comfort elements for a pleasant sitting experience.

Assembly of the Ergonomic Chair Pro is simple and only requires one person to complete the installation. It can take up to 20 minutes to put everything together.

The height of the chair can be adjusted, as well as the height of both armrests and the headboard. You can also recline in the chair while locking in how far back you want to go, and the Ergonomic Chair Pro rotates 360 degrees and has wheels on the bottom that can be easily moved on wood floors and even carpeted floors.

From the bamboo desktop to the slim desk legs, the desk is beautifully designed to fit into almost any office setup. In addition, there is plenty of room for your legs under the desk, so you don’t feel cramped when you sit or stand at your desk.

The controls are easy to learn and use, and the tap controls are very responsive and don’t slow down from activation to execution. With a maximum of 49.4 inches, the desk can be set to very high heights, and at 23.8 inches – the minimum height for the desk – you can use it sitting on the floor if desired.

The transition between heights is smooth and almost nothing shakes on your desk. Everything stays in place without the fear of it falling over.

The downside to the desk is that it only has one USB-A port. If you want to buy a power strip for the desk, it will cost extra.

Also, the desk is a bit expensive – almost $600 – just for the desk legs. The desktop starts at $70 for chipboard and can go up to $210 for bamboo with an integrated wireless charging pad.

Overall, using the FlexiSpot E7 Pro Plus Standing Desk was enjoyable and we rarely saw any issues. It’s big, beautiful, responsive, and overall a great desk to work on.
