Indian Kevin Bridges has been recognized with an award for being the performer playing the most shows at the Scottish Events Campus (SEC).

He is the first person to receive the entertainment complex’s accolade after his 16-day, sold-out, Overdue Catch-Up appearances at the OVO Hydro.

It brings its total appearances in the nightlife venue, which includes the Hydro, the SEC Armadillo and the SEC Center, to 63.

Bridges received a platinum artist award backstage on Thursday night as the run nears its end.

Debbie McWilliams, SEC’s Director of Live Entertainment, said: “It is always a pleasure to welcome Kevin back to the SEC, and this year more than most as he achieves this important milestone.

“It’s fitting that homegrown talent is the recipient of our first platinum artist award. Kevin is now paving the way for other artists to be recognized with this new award.”
