has been spotted in public for the first time since announcing she is expecting her second child. The princess and her husband will welcome their arrival later in the summer, a younger sibling to their son August, who turns two next month.

Eugenie was radiant this week when she left the posh London restaurant Chiltern Firehouse with her mother Sarah Ferguson.

She wore a black floral dress with black heeled boots and wrapped in an oversized camel coat.

The 32-year-old revealed her pregnancy in an adorable Instagram post on which her son August kisses her belly.

In the photo, taken by Jack, Eugenie, dressed in a wool cap, looks lovingly down as August, wearing a burgundy winter hat, matching trousers and boots, hugs her and kisses her belly, as they enjoy a walk in the countryside.

She captioned the post, “We are so excited to share that there will be a new addition to our family this summer.”

Her mother Sarah Ferguson also rose Instagram to share her joy at the news by posting a photo of her grandson happily splashing in a puddle.

She wrote, “You’re going to be sharing pee, Augie! Great news, grandma in heaven…so very grateful.”

Eugenie and Jack married in Windsor in October 2018, with their son August Philip Hawke born on 9 February 2021.

Baby August made her first public appearance more than a year later during the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

He sat in the royal box on his mother’s knee, wearing a Union Jack sweater as she bounced him up and down.
