Kaye Adams is looking for a fellow celebrity who previously starred in the Strictly Come Dancing ballroom while dusting off her own dancing shoes.

Ann Widecombe together with Anton Du Beke in 2010, for a ten-week run on the series.

The former Conservative MP was unable to make it to the semi-finals after scoring just 14 out of a possible 40 points during the live shows.

But as Kaye prepares for jive and cha-cha, she looks to Ann to prepare.

This week Kaye, 59, will make her BBC competition debut alongside Fleur East, Kym Marsh, Tony Adams and James bye in the setup.

The Loose Women panelist revealed: ‘I watch Anne Widdecombe’s YouTube videos every night.

“I also downloaded a very expensive app from a professional dancer in America to teach myself a few steps.”

However, Kaye felt “very annoyed” because she thought she was “signing up for a one-month free trial.”

The 59-year-old continued: “A friend of mine is a choreographer, so he shows me some basic steps and also lets me disco dance around the room ‘like nobody’s looking’.”

“He tells me to get used to feeling silly!”

This comes after Kaye admitted that her bra size even increased as she got ready for the launch from Strictly, though her Loose Women co-stars were less than convinced by her discovery.

Ahead of the start of the series, the broadcaster is understandably nervous, with the launch show on Friday, followed by the first live show the following day… but she was thrilled when she had her readings taken in preparation.

On the Thursday edition of Loose Women, Nadia Sawalha turned to her co-star and said, “Kaye has discovered something about herself.”

“Are you talking about…” Kaye replied, before placing her hands on her chest.

Kaye then went on to explain how when creating the outfits for the Strictly contestants, “they measure you up,” as Judi Love—who joined the show in 2021—affirmed, “They go right in!”

After Kaye told her colleagues that “you never go back if you have a built-in gusset,” she outlined how for several years she shared a “multi-pack of sports bras” with her 15-year-old daughter, a size 36B.

However, after being measured, the bra that best suited her turned out to be a significantly larger size.

‘What am I? Take a guess!’ Kaye excitedly told the panel and their live audience, before revealing that she learned she was actually a 32DD.

Kaye soon realized that her Loose Women co-stars Nadia and Jane Moore were having a hard time believing that was her size, and she pointed at them while exclaiming, “Excuse me!”

Strictly Come Dancing 2022 launches Friday at 10pm on BBC One, with the first live show on Saturday at 6:45pm on BBC One.
