Gemma Atkinson has revealed that she is teaching her three-year-old daughter a love of exercise from an early age as the couple hit the gym together.
The actress, 37, shared an adorable video of her and daughter Mia Louise working out together in their home gym as the toddler followed her mom’s movements with some toy weights of her own.
Gemma shared a video of them warming up and then doing some exercises together, telling her followers: ‘Every Saturday we spend time at the gym.
‘She asks questions, she looks, she learns, she grows. I hope you always want to train with me Mia.’
Gemma shares Mia with her partner Gorka Marquez, whom she met when they appeared on Strictly Come Dancing together.
With two fitness-loving parents, it’s no wonder Mia is already showing an interest in hitting the gym herself.
Gemma also shared some sweet clips of Mia trying out the gymnastics rings hung from the ceiling – with a little help from Mom, of course.
You heard them say, ‘Mom, let’s take turns. You go and then me, okay?’
Gemma was seen holding the rings and pulling her knees up to her chest before Mia dialed in, “My turn!”
The pair rounded out their training session with some floor stretching exercises, though their two dogs wanted to get in on the action.
Gemma watched her struggle to get into a cobra position—which Mia was nailing—because one of their dogs was also trying to get involved and was seriously getting in her way.
Mia is definitely the cutest gym buddy – and what better time to learn great habits for life.
