THE View fans were shocked when Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar were able to “forget their mics were on” in an awkward moment live on the air.
On the most recent episode of The View, host Sunny Hostin53, promoted her upcoming performance on Martha’s Vineyard African American Film Festival.

On August 12, the ABC star announced that she would be moderating a panel for Whoopi Goldberg’s new movie Till.
Sunny will be seen with Till director Chinonye Chukwu.
While Sunny gave details about the festival’s tickets and website, Joy jumped in and asked Whoopi a question.
Joy Behar, 79, yelled, “Wait!” without realizing that her microphone was not off.
Responding to the side call, Whoopi said, “No, I’ll be here,” and started laughing with her co-star.
One upset viewer noticed the blunder in the air and tweeted about the rude interruption: “Sunny almost got through all those announcements on #TheView.
“Until the details were muffled by a much louder conversation by Whoopi and Joy.”
The viewer concluded with: “They still forget that their microphones are always on. #HotTopics.”

Fans speculate that Joy’s tenure on the old program may be coming to an end.
Recently, the 79-year-old comedian joked: ET That “money and geography‘ were the only things that kept her on the morning show.
Fans became convinced that “they will announce Joy’s retirement when they come back” because of the new additions to the panel.
NEW CAST MEMBERS
Guests Ana Navarro 50, and Alyssa Farah Griffin33, recently landed full-time roles on the show.
Ana has reportedly signed a multi-year deal to co-host the daytime talk show.
Whoopi announced their regular roles, saying, “Today we are proud to make another highly anticipated announcement that Ana Navarro will become an official co-host of The View.”
Whoopi continued: “She always has an unfiltered and quite hilarious look…”
“As Barbara Walters used to say, you know you made it when you’ve been parodied on SNL.”
Ana replied, “After many years, lots of haircuts, lots of pounds up and down… we’re finally ringing it and making it official. I want to thank the very loyal View fans.”
Alyssa, the former White House Strategic Communications Director for Trump, added: “It’s such an honor to be on set with you ladies every day.
“I’m so proud to have found my voice. I’m here to join this table and hopefully bring a different perspective.”
She concluded: “I’m so excited about it. I am ready.
“Thank you ladies and thank you to the entire View team.”
The TV show is looking for a new full-time conservative co-host since the departure of Meghan McCain last year.
